Our Platform Meetings during the year 2003-2004
will include a series of "simple conversations to restore hope to the future"
led by Charles Vail and based on the book
"turning to one another" by Margaret Wheatley.
Each of these will include a reading of a short chapter from her book,
as a conversation starter. The titles of these chapters are:
- Do I feel a vocation to be fully human?
- What is my faith in the future?
- What do I believe about others?
- What am I willing to notice in my world?
- When have I experienced good listening?
- Am I willing to reclaim time to think?
- What is the relationship I want from the earth?
- What is my unique contribution to the whole?
- When have I experienced working for the common good?
- When do I experience sacred?
- Gestures of love
- turning to one another
